    • In other macOS browsers the Bitwarden extension uses ⌘⇧ as the default keyboard shortcut modifier, e.g. ⌘⇧L to fill a login.

When I started using Orion, I thought the extension was broken because ⌘⇧L didn't do anything. I then realized the default in Orion is ⌃⇧L instead.

I'm not sure whethere there's a good reason to use ⌃⇧ as the modifier. If there isn't, I would suggest changing it to ⌘⇧ instead to match the extension in other browsers, users are just used to it.

      I expected ⌘⇧L to work.

      • I have a couple of (pinned) tabs that I use regurarly. I wanted to assign a system App Shortcut to those tabs, so I can open the tab just with keyboard.

It is possible, because pinned tabs are visible in the menu File>Profiles>(profile)>Windows>(Window)>Pinned Tabs. That works flawlessly with websites, that do not change their title.

Unfortunately, when the website changes the title, the shortcut does not work anymore.

It would be cool, if we could rename/set the title of any (Pinned) tab, so we can use system App Shortcuts to navigate between (Pinned) Tabs.

I tried to look whether there is already an existing issue for setting the tab name/title but I was not able to find anything.

        • Steps to reproduce:
Open a google sheet, set the page to 125% zoom, enter text into a cell, as soon as you leave the cell (tab or enter) the text becomes blurry... very annoyin!
          Expected behavior:
I expect the google sheet not to be blurred...

          • I wonder why this browser is not open source. If it has no trackers to hide there should be no reason to hide its source code. I will not enter my personal data into such a browser.

            • I am not really sure if this is a bug or a feature request, but it seems that Profiles other than the "Default" one are not synced via iCloud. Perhaps this is hard to do with the current implementation or is planned.

              Steps to reproduce:
Have two desktop computers using Orion and syncing via iCloud. Create a new profile on machine A.

              Expected behavior:
I would expect the new profile to appear, after a couple of minutes, on machine B as an available profile with its own history, bookmarks, etc.

              • When using Orion on mobile, I noticed there is no option to manually sort the tabs. When I’m in “sidebar” or “grid” view, I always long-press on an open tab, thinking it will allow me to drag-n-drop arrange the tabs. It currently doesn’t work this way. And I think this could be helpful in situations where I have a number of tabs listed next to each other that don’t really have anything in common. Which creates a visual disconnect as I glance over.

                Keep up the great work!

Reply to myself. At least for the case of Vue, this is supported using the upcoming version of Vue Devtools ( Vue DevTools Next ). In addition to a web extension (which still does not work in Orion), they recommend running the devtools as a Vite plugin. This approach essentially injects the full devtools into the running Vue application and, more importantly, works really nicely in Orion:

Just a heads for anyone looking to use Orion for Vue development.

                  • Steps to reproduce:

                    1. Open a site (for example, Discord or Gmail) that updates its favicon depending on the state of the application.
                    2. Using Discord as an example, when there is new, unread content, the tab's favicon will show a red badge (see images below).
                    3. In Orion, the tab's favicon does not change from its default state.

                    Expected behavior:
The tab's favicon should update to use the new favicon.
