Bitwarden - match default keyboard shortcuts of other browsers

In other macOS browsers the Bitwarden extension uses ⌘⇧ as the default keyboard shortcut modifier, e.g. ⌘⇧L to fill a login.

When I started using Orion, I thought the extension was broken because ⌘⇧L didn't do anything. I then realized the default in Orion is ⌃⇧L instead.

I'm not sure whethere there's a good reason to use ⌃⇧ as the modifier. If there isn't, I would suggest changing it to ⌘⇧ instead to match the extension in other browsers, users are just used to it.

I expected ⌘⇧L to work.

Indeed, you are right. I will check with the technical team to see if it is an error or a technical constraint.

I set ⇧⌘X to lock the Bitwarden vault and it doesn't do anything.
Bitwarden (Firefox) 2024.12.3

I'd expect ⇧⌘X to now lock the vault.

How was this implemented? currently on latest rc.

shorcuts cmd-shift-Y and ctrl-shift-Y do the same thing.
same with cmd-shift-L and ctrl-shift-L.
only cmd-* should work, not ctrl-*

the shorcuts also should only display with cmd-* not ctrl.

the issue is likely cmd and ctrl being mixed up somewhere.

eirk What type of extension is your Bitwarden--Chrome, Firefox, or Safari? Is it the most recent version of Bitwarden or not?

I'm didn't reproduce with any type, so trying to do so

I used firefox 2024.10.1 version, which I believe is the one in popular extensions. I had installed it in a previous version of orion.

Reinstaling directly from the ff web store resulted in the shortcuts working completely as expected.

Could there be an issue if the extension wasn't installed in the latest version of orion?
