  • It would be really nice if tabs can auto suspend after a certain amount of time. Maybe have 5min, 10min, 15min, etc or a custom time setting. Tabs playing audio or video won't auto suspend of course. It's a small suggestion but extremely convenient 👍

Also thank you all for making such a great browser. We appreciate it 😀

    • CPU usage when watching videos on YT is high compared to Chrome, to the point where it heats up significantly and turns on the fans. Chrome runs passively on the other hand. I tried manually turning off all the extensions, which has almost no effect. Compatibility mode has a limited effect to the point where it heats up less, but still more than Chrome. I am running the latest Orion 0.99.121-beta on latest build of macOS (13.0) on M1 Pro 14 inch MacBook Pro. My expected behavior is that it should consume less power, because it ran fine for the past couple of months. If you need me to send logs somehow or something like that, let me know. It started occuring after Orion crashed a couple days ago.

      • When using UBlock Origin and opening Web Spotify, an error message appears stating that there is a playback issue. But when launching the app in compatibility mode, the app works.

        • Steps to reproduce:
Orion seems to have trouble opening external applications. I am trying to open up a Roblox link in Orion but this message does not pop up like how it does in Safari. Therefore, the external app does not open.

          Expected behavior:
Orion is able to open external applications.

          Orion, OS version; hardware type:
          Orion v0.99.120.1, M1 Air (2020), macOS Monterey v12.6

Edit 23 Oct: Like what Mcblogan commented below this post, Orion sees Roblox's launch link as an unsupported URL.
