When using UBlock Origin and opening Web Spotify, an error message appears stating that there is a playback issue. But when launching the app in compatibility mode, the app works.

    does this happen on chrome or firefox, with the same uBO settings?

      UBO works as expected on both Chrome and Firefox, and ads are seamlessly blocked. This pops up when UBO attempts to block a Spotify ad in Orion.

          We're referring to ads that interrupt playback of music.

          uBO attempts to block an ad here when I listen to music but the same popup occurs and I can no longer play music.

          Sorry if my explanation is vague. Im not sure how else to explain it.

          It works fine in compatibility mode but no ads are blocked of course.

              ehrell This probably means that uBO blocked something that it shouldn't have.

              I'll leave it to JS gurus to try to figure out what before we step in to try to fix the issue.

                  Ads would be skipped

                  Actual behavior:
                  Plays the audio ads.

                          AshwathSingh When there is update, the status of this post will change. Imagine everyone bumping threads like that on the 2,000+ open issues we have?
