  • When you try to login to a website and you select a credential, you are prompted to unlock access to Orion's keychain/passwords via Touch ID or master password. If the site has email/username on separate page than password, and it also contains OTP/2FA, this can give you several unlock prompts consecutively instead of just once.

Add an option to make the browser remember credentials for a selected amount of time, for example a dropdown selection of these options:

    • Always ask
    • Remember for 5 min
    • 10 min
    • 15 min
    • 30 min
    • 1 hour
    • 1 day
    • Until mac restart/close browser
    • Custom entry?

    or something like that.

Browser will then remember credential and when you try to login to some other site within specified time, it will just auto fill password for selected credential. The timer would keep running from the last time user actually unlocked with Touch ID/password, not when the keychain was last accessed.

    • Steps to reproduce:

      1. Ensure that at least one saved entry exists in the Orion Passwords for the Default profile
      2. Leave the default profile browser window open
      3. Create a new profile
      4. Wait for the new profile window to open
      5. Quit the new profile window
      6. Open the Orion Passwords
      7. All saved credentials are gone. 🥶 (not a big deal, lost a few I don't have elsewhere. They're easy to reset)

      Reproduced 5/5 times

      Expected behavior:
All saved passwords in the Orion keystore saved from the Default profile should persist when adding/removing profiles.

      Orion, OS version; hardware type:
      Orion: 0.99.121.1-beta (WebKit 614.1.20)
      macOS: Ventura 13.0 build 22A380
      2020 MacBook Pro M1 13"

      • There is something Safari had over the past years. But I am sure it's limited in use cause its more for banks that send verification code for a transaction or maybe for Google or other sites that sending 2 factor auth codes via sms.

So in the screenshot below it's Orion that won't grab the digit I just received for 2 factor auth and I need to write it down.

Safari is grabbing that auth code and clicks ok to move on the authentication process almost in every site.

I hope that reminds something to someone.. I was using it daily when needed!
