@Vlad I unfortunately can't 🙁 due to privacy concerns, but maybe someone else could? Right now on Orion you have to autofill by searching the account through the passwords option in the context menu. Imagine in the screenshot I showed in my previous post it just showed "Passwords..." and once you click that you have to search for the specific account.

@Vlad this is still a real issue. The current Orion use of Apple Passwords through the "auto fill" context menu is very painful for the "trend" in multi-step logins. Take Asana with 2FA... you need to invoke the context menu > "Auto fill" > "Passwords" > Login Apple account (enter password if you don't have a finger-print reader) [and the timeout on the Apple Passwords is short - so you have to do this often]) > then the Apple Passwords modal doesn't seem to get the URL context, it also doesn't autofocus the search form (requiring another click) > find the site in all your Apple Passwords list > open it > select the login username/email > submit the websites form.... then do the same flow (minus the session creation to Apple Passwords) again for the password > submit that form... then do the same flow again for the OTP (one-time-verification-code).

As you can read; this isn't a nice UX (it's a lot of steps which adds a lot of effort that other alternatives/browsers aren't doing).

This is a highly desirable feature. When automatically-generated passwords are in the mix, it would be very convenient if Orion could fetch them like Safari does.

glhrmv Can you give an example of non-Safari browser that does this better than Orion? (it might be that what you ask is simply not possible)

Vlad Hmm I guess ideally Orion's keychain would just be a replica of Apple Passwords. I don't know any browser that does this better.

The official Apple iCloud Chrome (Play Store) extension has a better/faster/shorter UX flow that Orion for filling inputs with content stored in Apple Passwords.

Previously I've posted all the stages of Orion as screenshots. Attached now is a video of the Chrome iClouds Passwords Extension running in Arc. One video shows with the extensions "Autofill" setting enabled, and the other manually requesting the login fill from the Extensions icon. Both methods allow for multi account selection and filter to passwords for the site. It's a much much simplifier and faster UX flow than Orion's current implementation.
The autofill option opens the overlay on site load, so it's 2 clicks to login. I think if you have only one account for the site in Passwords, then it's as simple as the browser native password autofill.

Vlad will this feature then include Touch ID integration, as well as passkeys, or is this seperate? I am confused at the difference between icloud keychain and passkeys as well as passwords.

Vlad So Touch ID will be implemented with passwords, but not passkeys?

Vlad eagerly awaiting Apple Passwords app integration! Thanks, Vlad.

In the meantime you can use the iCloud Passwords extension (from Apple) on AMO

                    Anatomy5803 interesting.

Related question: do you know if is there an advantage/disadvantage to using Chrome extensions vs Firefox Addons in Orion?
