Tampermonkey is not working in Orion but no one knows why.

I have liaised with Violentmonkey's author only. If you insist to use Tampermonkey, you need to find Jan Biniok to talk to him directly to investigate the root cause.

Most scripts can be installed in Violentmonkey as well. I use it everyday.

      Vlad Actually the current "stable" version can be used in Orion without issue. Just there is an bug issue in it so I don't want to recommend 2.17.0

      Violentmonkey is updating frequently. The "stable" version might be not actually "stable".
      2.18.0 might come after weeks or months.

      Indeed Orion is also BETA as per https://kagi.com/orion/ haha. I don't think there would be any issue if we know a specific version is much reliable than the latest one.

              Some of Tampermonkey does. The YouTube to Indivious Redirector script works well in Tampermonkey on Orion.

                  2.17.0 can support Orion too. Just there are other bugs.
                  All the popular extensions listed in Orion are just refer to the latest version in the store? The new version will be automatically available in "popular extensions"? If this is the case, you can add it.

                        Has this been added to Popular Extensions? I am running version 0.99.126.4.1-beta and I don't see it.

                          @Vlad So the version in the "Popular Extensions" would not be the latest version from the store? It will be updated only when requested? I accept this though. Just want to get clarified.

                          The versions (BETA & Stable) in Violentmonkey are quite complicated. The version not up to the latest listed in the store is also okay. If users want to use the latest features they can install it from the store.

                            cyfung1031 We need to link to a specific URL. Unfortunately the stores update the URL with each release and we can not know it.
