Holding down modifier keys when viewing menu items causes some of them to have an altered function. This post is a compilation of the options that have such a function on Safari but not on Orion.

Status bar:
⌥-clicking a link downloads it. On Safari the status bar is updated to reflect this function: Download "url" but on Orion the status bar text does not change even though the functionality is there.

⌘-clicking a link opens it in a new tab. On Safari the status bar is updated to reflect this function: Open "url" in a new tab behind the current one but on Orion the status bar text does not change even though the functionality is there.

^-clicking a link opens the context menu for that link (same behavior as right clicking). On Safari the status bar is updated to reflect this function: Display a menu for "url" but on Orion the status bar text does not change even though the functionality is there.

Context menu:
On Safari, holding down ⌥ changes Open link in New Window to Open link in New Private Window. Orion, however, already has a separate Open link in New Private Window option in the context menu that is always visible.

On Safari, holding down ⌥ changes Open Image in New Window to Open Image in New Private Window. Orion does not have this feature nor is there a separate Open Image in New Private Window option.

On Safari, holding down ⌥ changes Open Video in New Window to Open Video in New Private Window. Orion does not have this feature nor is there a separate Open Video in New Private Window option.

Menu bar:
On Safari, File -> New Tab changes to New Tab at End when ⌥ is pressed. Orion does not have this feature currently.

On Safari, File -> Close Tab changes to Close Other Tabs when ⌥ is pressed. Orion does not have this feature currently.

On Safari, View -> Zoom In changes to Make Text Bigger when ⌥ is pressed. Orion does not have this feature currently.

On Safari, View -> Zoom Out changes to Make Text Smaller when ⌥ is pressed. Orion does not have this feature currently.

On Safari, History -> Clear History... changes to Clear History and Keep Website Data... when ⌥ is pressed. Orion does not have this feature currently.

@laiz does anything useful that safari does not have come to mind?

Safari has a nifty feature where you can press option+command+(- or +) and it resizes all text on the current page, it's a really useful feature for smaller screens like on the MacBooks.

Right now Orion only has Zoom in and out options, but it zooms in every UI element of a webpage, causing the browsing experience to sometimes be hard. Only changing the font size would make the UI elements stay the same, so users don't need to readjust to new positions of those UI elements. It also, of course, makes the reading experience be so much better for people on smaller screens or with vision disabilities.

how do you expect an ui element to "stay the same" if the text is going to overflow outside of it tho especially if eg it was white text inside orange ui on a white website making the text partially unreadable by then? just curious is all

There's quite a few more that can be added, and a few that laiz mentioned that weren't added:

            status bar

(crossed out means feature in safari that was implemented in orion)
ctrl should result in status bar showing when hovering over anything
            x is the URL

cmd - Open x in a new tab behind the current one
shift - Add x to Reading List
            alt - Download x

            ctrl - Display a menu for x
cmd-shift - Open x in a new tab (ie, switch focus to it when opening it)
            cmd-alt-shift - Open x in a new window
cmd-alt - Open x in a new window behind the current window (couldnt find anyth special about "behind current window", seemed to be same behavior as
            cmd-alt-shift
            ctrl-{any combination of the other modifiers} - Display a menu for x

alt-shift - displays x in Safari, but should be Download x
