scottharris1014 Not at the moment but I’ll shoot you one if I get any
I assume this bug is more on the 1Password side but we will see. Now that it has folks testing nightly builds maybe we will see some rapid improvement.

It seems to me that the autofill not working sometimes can be corrected by refreshing the page. For this site (orionfeedback), I had 1P locked, then unlocked it via extension (bio auth). Nothing popped up to auto fill. I then refreshed the page and it worked.
As you noticed 1Password should now work in Orion.
If you have any issues I suggest posting them in 1Password forum. We are in contact with their team and if they find anything to be on the Orion side they will let us know.

We plan to release this in Orion Beta this Saturday.
Hi Vlad and everyone,
I've just installed Orion 0.99.125-beta. I have the Nightly of 1Password. I have added Orion to the whitelisted browsers in 1Password Advanced settings. Now what do I have to do? I don't have the extension in my browser - 1Password keeps sending me to download the Safari extension. I've lost the instructions that came up when I first opened the new Orion release and I can't find anything anywhere with the instructions.
robrecord Click on Orion -> Popular Extensions... -> and install 1Password.
robrecord Orion release notes are always avaialble through Help -> Release notes
1Password is now compatible with Orion thanks to the joint effort between 1Password and Orion teams. To use 1Password in Orion you will need the latest version of 1Password browser extension (you can get it with Orion -> Popular Extensions-> 1Password) and the desktop app (build 81009030 +, you need to be on 1Password nightly build update channel, set it in 1Password Settings > Advanced > Release Channel) which allows browser whitelisting (you will need to add Orion as a whitelisted app).
Vlad Hey, Sorry for this question, but I have been using the stable version of 1password for a while. Does the NIghtly build mean it will be unstable and have other glitches in the normal 1password experience?
rohitdhawan This is always a risk with beta or nightly software. So it may work perfectly fine, but it may have bugs.
Just wanted to report back that from this 1P Nightly (Mac 8.10.12 (81012021)) also logging in on the .eu server works.
jjthejet We are not actively pursuing any 1P integration bugs as none have been reported to us (and we do not follow their forums, our own is keeping us busy enough).
If there are bugs and you believe they originate within Orion, please follow the standard procedure:
Note also there are 2,000 open issues we are tackling over the entire surface area of the browser so helping us with precise information helps.
edit: I stand corrected there is this https://orionfeedback.org/d/5892-1password-race-condition-producing-error reported by their team
Is this fix also implemented in the beta version of the browser as of today?
I'm using 0.99.126.3-beta on macOS 14.1.1 (23B81) and I neither can login on EU servers (or I actually can login, but the extension doesn't seem to have access to the data as it always asks me to login again whenever I click the 1P extension icon), nor does the extension have access to the desktop app (it says "[Status: Problems connecting . Please make sure the 1Password app is unlocked.]" - the macOS app is unlocked).
Forget what I wrote above, I just found https://help.kagi.com/orion/browser-extensions/1password.html and added Orion to the list of browsers in 1Password and everything now works like a charm.
