When using Cmd+F to search, and then clicking somewhere on the page, you should be able to press Escape to close the search even though the search has lost focus, like on other browsers.

Probably only a mod can do this... but I think this post is similar to another post @leftbones has made and the other one has the steps to reproduce so this post should close @Vlad

Soum You can also flag a post as duplciate. Use the flag feature in the menu on the right. Can you find that post and indicate it as duplicate?

Soum Nope, this is a different issue, and that should be clear just by reading the titles.

        To reproduce:

        1. Press CMD + F to open the search field
        2. Type something that is on the page
        3. Click somewhere on the page
        4. Pressing ESCAPE from this point should close the search field, but it does not. This behavior is present in every other browser I have used.

I seem to recall this working in Orion just a few days ago. After today's big update, it no longer workers

        Today's version: Version 0.99.120-beta (WebKit 614.1.20)

In Safari, any time you've triggered Find, you can close it from anywhere in the tab with the Esc key.

Orion just clears the text in the Find input field.

This issue mentions closing the search field when not focused. As of version 0.99.120-beta, the search field doesn't even close when pressing Escape while focused. That would already be a good first step.
