We are preparing a new "Recommended extensions" screen and want to know which extensions are working in Orion and are being used by our users.

Edit: Please also note if the extension is fully working.

Thanks!

google translate (chrome), grammarly (chrome) , dark reader (firefox), bypass paywalls (installed from file)
    all working properly for me.

Fbpurity (broken still), better twitter, privacy badger

        SponsorBlock, Lighthouse, EditThisCookie

Vlad SponsorBlock works well under desktop but is unusable on mobile
Lighthouse is semi-working, after generating report the button stops working until you restart browser
EditThisCookie is fully working on mobile and desktop

          • Vlad replied to this.

Vlad Editing and removing cookie files for specific website

Tomato Clock (firefox): works, but I think it got the stats wrong a couple of times.
DF Tube (chrome): only extension of its type which works on Orion. Though in the block feed feature the feed is shown for a second or two before it disappears.

UBlockOrigin (fully working) Bitwarden (mostly working, autofill is a little janky sometimes and it would be nice if web fonts weren't disabled for extensions) Decentraleyes (fully working)

uBlock Origin and Dark Reader. There is a bug where their popup windows won't show up when I'm on Wikipedia (other websites might be affected as well), but this is probably a general bug that's not related to those specific extensions. Aside from that, they seem to work fine.

Dark Reader (Chrome) - Works fine except:

                    1. Can't open Dev Tools (existing bug).
                    2. Sometimes it won't get the domain of the current page properly, like when I go to site B from site A, it'll still show domain of site A, which cause it to apply the wrong settings.
                    3. It's very wonky for me in the latest RC. Sometimes needs multiple reload for it to apply properly.

Enhancer for YouTube (Chrome) - Works perfectly AFAIK

Imagus (Chrome) - Works perfectly AFAIK

Stylus (Chrome) - Works perfectly AFAIK

ViolentMonkey (Chrome) - Works perfectly AFAIK

AdGuard for Mac - Not an extension per se but the ad-blocking works perfectly. However, its "Extensions" feature, aka userscripts injection, doesn't work with Orion, which is why I had to resort to ViolentMonkey.

                      • uBlock Origin (Firefox) | Works Perfectly
                      • Reddit Enhancement Suite (Firefox) | Works Perfectly
                      • SponsorBlock (Firefox) | Works Perfectly

uBlock Origin - Firefox works well. I don't use it because I don't need it. Bitwarden - Chrome works very well. 1Password - Chrome isn't working, but we know why. Downie - Firefox works very well. Image Downloader - Chrome works very well.

uBO (Firefox version) - url blocking works, css elements are sometimes blocked, logger doesn't work

                          Redirector (Firefox) - doesn't work

                            Currently Using

uBlock Origin (I reinstall after Orion updates and recent uBO is using unimplemented WebExtensions API methods)

                            Dark Reader

                            Would Like to Use

                            MEGA
                            Stream Recorder
                            Tabliss

                              5 days later

                              Macbook
                              Firefox Extensions

                              • Bypass Paywalls Clean
                              • Dark Reader
                              • Enhancer for YouTube
                              • uBlock Origin

                              Chrome Extensions

                              • Bitwarden
                              • Chrome Remote Desktop

So far no complaints regarding the extensions. The only one that might be problematic is Chrome Remote Desktop since I can't share my computer anymore. I think that I could before.

                              iOS

                              • Dark Reader
                              • Bypass Paywalls
                              • Redirect AMP to HTML

Would also like to use grammarly but I think it's broken on both Mac and iOS.

Edit: Apparently my AMP to HTML isn't working on iOS
