  • In Tabs frequent and quickly go blank

    In normal usage, not leaving Orion, not having the computer sleep, etc**, ...

    tabs frequently (many times a day) and quickly (sometimes within a minute of opening) go blank - and the address bar is often also blank. I often can get the contents back using the tab history back arrow.

    This has been happening for months, across multiple OS and Orion versions. Maybe happens more with google docs than anything else?

    Currently on Version 0.99.127.3-beta (WebKit 619.1.1).

      Brief Summary
      I just subscribed to Orion+ to test out the Orion RC build. I noticed there's no easy way to import the browser data from my normal Orion to Orion RC. I would like to see an import option for Orion Normal/RC browser data inside the import window in settings. Or maybe a way to export all data to a JSON/XML file? (handy if you want to reinstall Orion and want to backup your settings)

      EDIT: the command 'cp -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Orion ~/Library/Application\ Support/Orion\ RC' does not seem to work (bookmarks and other data don't get transferred from Orion to Orion RC.

      • In Orion crashes on launch, cannot reopen or use at all

        Steps to reproduce:
        I am not sure how to reproduce this -- after behaving completely normally, starting today I am unable to launch Orion and it crashes on launch. The error it gives is this:

        Orion to open without issue

          • In Crash whenever I attempt to login using RC build

            Steps to reproduce:

            1. I opened Orion RC for the first time on Ventura, before I was using it on Monterey, it downloaded build for Ventura
            2. I had an existing tab from the release build open, I tried to login by using a saved login information, clicking on the popup menu with the credentials
            3. Orion RC crashes instantly

            It also crashes if there is no stored login info for a site, but I click on the login input field (for example email). It crashes every single time, even if I open a new tab and try to login (for example on Steam).

            I don't have any extensions on Orion RC build. It also crashes in compatibility mode.

            Expected behavior:
            Browser should not crash.

            • In Orion not prompting to send Crash Report to Orion team

              Steps to reproduce:
              Unsure - I have had two crashes as seen in macOS Console, but Orion has never prompted me to send a report (Apple has)

              Crash 1:

              • While closing a tab it crashed
              • Performing @selector(closeTab:) from sender NSMenu 0x600002a6cbc0

              Crash 2:

              • I had the RC (0.99.108.1.2-beta) installed, and used the Check for Updates button to "update" to the beta (0.99.109-beta). I did this because I couldn't find the download link to the latest beta, and noted Orion prompted me to update from RC to the beta. Anyways, it crashed after I clicked Install and Relaunch on the update popup
