Brief Summary
I just subscribed to Orion+ to test out the Orion RC build. I noticed there's no easy way to import the browser data from my normal Orion to Orion RC. I would like to see an import option for Orion Normal/RC browser data inside the import window in settings. Or maybe a way to export all data to a JSON/XML file? (handy if you want to reinstall Orion and want to backup your settings)

EDIT: the command 'cp -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Orion ~/Library/Application\ Support/Orion\ RC' does not seem to work (bookmarks and other data don't get transferred from Orion to Orion RC.

    toineenzo We do have the documentation as Dustin pointed out but we do lack import and the reason is we will probably not keep these two separate in the future.

          I couldn't get the cookies and pinned tabs etc. ported over into +RC. I think I'll hold back with RC and stick to the Orion with Plus subscription first.

            Steps to reproduce:

            1. Installed orion beta and ran it for a month, set to save session on quit
            2. Installed Version 0.99.123.3.5-rc
            3. started Orion RC

            Expected behavior:
            I need to have my data (history, tabs, etc) from the beta in the release candidate

                  RC had been crashing on startup, so I returned to the beta for a couple weeks. Now beta has newer information (tabs, history, etc) that I must bring over to the RC.

                  Twice tried the instructions (below) provided by @laiz from Syncing settings to Orion RC (Release Candidate), with both RC and beta not running, but my 154 beta tabs are not there when I start the RC - it shows the same tabs from the old RC session.

                  Is something missing from the technical doc for me to get all the tabs? Should I first delete /Library/Application\ Support/Orion\ RC?

                  Or, @Vlad must I use sync?

                      Sync will bring over passwords, bookmarks and windows/tabs.

                        I expected to have the cookies, pinned tabs, etc. available at Orion+RC but didn't manage to get it to "sync" from Orion.
                        Tried
                        cp -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Orion ~/Library/Application\ Support/Orion\ RC
                        as suggested at https://help.kagi.com/orion/misc/technical.html#syncing-settings-to-orion-rc-release-candidate but that didn't bring over anything. Cookies not loaded into RC neither.

                        I will stick to the normal Orion so far first.

                            @Vlad Unfortunately this command does nothing for me:
                            cp -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Orion ~/Library/Application\ Support/Orion\ RC

                            Not settings, bookmarks, etc get synced from orion to orion rc even after reinstalling both versions and resetting all my settings.

                            @Vlad Can you take look at this again and maybe convert this to a bug report? (a GUI import option would still be nice though)

                            This is happening for me too - the command is not copying over anything. No tabs or bookmarks

                            Wasn't there some chatter that next builds would "integrate" the BETA and RC-BUILDS into one channel so that we could have the same Application Support data folder for both applications? Simply install one over the other (or even select the channel inside Orion) and automatically have our Profiles there.

                              The official command in the Docs is still not working. I did not get anything imported into Orion RC.

                              I need my Profiles (Personal / Work) with all the pinned tabs and cookies imported. How can I do that?
