    • Steps to reproduce:
Drag and drop a file (pdf, png, jpg, mp3, mp4 tested) from computer into a toolbar tab or the search bar. Orion allows dragging into the search bar, but only if the Orion window is active, and it searches the internet for the file path. Manually adding file:// before the path circumvents this issue.

      Expected behavior:
Dragging a file into a toolbar tab should open the file in that tab automatically. Dragging into the search bar should open it in the active tab automatically. file:// should be added before the path and run automatically. Files should be able to be dropped into the Orion window even when Orion is not the active window.

      Orion, OS version; hardware type:
      Orion 0.99.118.1-beta, macOS 12.4 (21F79), MacBook Pro 2020

Just came to applaud this project and mention Teleparty (Chrome/Edge). For some background, it is a collaborative video streaming service, on the top of most relevant lists on the internet. According to the Chrome web store it has "10,000,000+" users, on par with extentions like uBlock Origin.

Teleparty sadly does not seem to work here, although if any of you have had success I would love to hear. Upon trying to join an already-existing room (by clicking a created link), it redirects to the standard video player for the service (Netflix/Hulu/etc.) instead the room (an interface to the right of the video player). When trying to use the extension to create a room the extension will open, but it quickly gives "Failed to connect to Script. Please refresh the page and try again." In compatibility mode it will not open at all.

Tested on Orion 0.99.117-beta, macOS 12.4 (21F79), MacBook Pro 2020.
I understand you have a lot of work on your hands but this might be another extension worth reviewing.

        • We are preparing a new "Recommended extensions" screen and want to know which extensions are working in Orion and are being used by our users.

Edit: Please also note if the extension is fully working.

          Thanks!

            For colored tab chrome
Compact tabs need to be added. Just like Safari's, except they use Safari 14's design for the compact tabs, and also have a spot near the window buttons and toolbar buttons, and the right corner near the "+" button wherein the browser is draggable with the mouse. There should also be an option for people such as myself who want a web-application-like experience and wish to remove flotato and instead use this browser except with the colored tab color option on, in which I have to resort to Safari to use instead. I would suggest making an option for users who would like this, as well as tab colors
