  • Steps to reproduce:

    1. Use Kagi/Google to search for something or browse YouTube comments
    2. Some search results and YT usernames are shortened and have ... added at the end (see pictures)
    3. This issue only exists on desktop Orion

    Expected behavior:
Orion should show these in full as is the case with Safari and other browsers.

    Orion, OS version; hardware type:
    Version 0.99.122-rc (WebKit 615.1.11.7)
MacBook Air M1 (macOS Ventura 13.0.1 build 22A400)

    • Steps to reproduce:

      1. Go to https://console.cron-job.org/signup
      2. Fill in the name and email fields and tab into the first password field
      3. Orion suggests a strong password in the password field; click "Use Strong Password"
      4. Tab into the repeat password field
      5. There seems to be no way to enter the same password in that field

      Expected behavior:
Both fields should be filled in, or I should be able to copy/paste the password.

      Orion, OS version; hardware type:
      Orion 0.99.116-beta, macOS 12.4 (21F79), MacBook Air (M1, 2020)

      • Steps to reproduce:

I got the autoupgrade prompt and installed the update. After restarting, the browser opened the previously open tabs but became completely unresponsive, with the beach-ball mouse cursor. I force quit the process via cmd-option-esc, sent the report to Apple (I wonder if they share reports with app authors?) and clicked Reopen. Again, the browser opened the tabs and became unresponsive.

I deleted the app and reinstalled via the homebrew cask, which is at version 0.99,115.3. Now the browser works normally.

        Expected behavior:

        Should not get stuck

        Orion, OS version; hardware type:

The latest autoupdate that was offered on July 6, 2022, which I guess is 0.99.116? MacOS Monterey version 12.4 (21F79), MacBook Air (M1, 2020).

        • As a former Firefox user I miss a lot the more powerful address-bar history search provided by Firefox.

In Firefox you can type one or more words in the address bar and the browser will propose as possible matches in the drop down sites that contain all of the given words, for example:

The same in Orion does not work. If I enter "GitHub" it shows several possible matches, but if I add a space and a second word nothing will be proposed. I used this feature a lot in Firefox as it allowed me to rely on my history of browsing much more than on my bookmarks.

Do you think something like this could be added to Orion as well?
