  • Steps to reproduce:

    • Open a new tab
    • type in orionfeedback.com
    • Request eventually times out (with no indication to the user for a very long time)
      • Address bar shows the domain that is requested, but the webpage stays the same

    Expected behavior:

    • I expect Redirects to redirect properly. In Safari and Orion Desktop orionfeedback.com redirects to orionfeedback.org
    • Note: Im just using Orion feedback as an example, but this issue comes up with surprisingly high frequency for me

    Orion, OS version; hardware type:
    1.0.3.107-beta (Webkit 8612.3.6.0.4)
    iOS 15.2.1

    • Steps to reproduce:

      • Open up a few tabs
      • Select the tab at the top of the tab stack
      • Close the tab at the bottom of the tab stack
      • The tab that is now at the bottom of the tab stack is opened

      Expected behavior:
I expect the tab not to change when a background tab is closed

      Orion, OS version; hardware type:

      iOS 15.2.1

      Description:

      • Hacker News is being viewed
      • Open Tab switcher and close the bottom tab
      • Current tab is switched to "Lights at Sea" (The now current bottom tab)

      • I just noticed in the video. When I check the tabs panel, it says there are n+1 open tabs at the top, but only n tabs are shown in the selector

        • Steps to reproduce:

          • Navigate to a site with a link to test. HackerNews works well for this
          • Long press on a link and select "Open in new Tab"
          • One of two things happen:
            1. The link that is opened is NOT the link that that was selected. It seems to be the link selected before the most current link was selected.
            2. If the tab session is new, and there is no previous link, the new tab will not be opened at all.

          e.g.:

          • I start a new tab
          • I find a website that links to orionfeedback.com and news.ycombinator.com
          • I open link orionfeedback.com in a new tab
            • No new tab will be opened
          • I open link news.ycombinator.com in a new tab
            • orionfeedback.com will load in new tab

          Expected behavior:
I would expect the new tab to contain the webpage selected previously

          Orion, OS version; hardware type:
iOS 15.2.1, iPhone 12 Pro Max
          Orion 1.0.3.107-beta (WebKit 8612.3.6.0.4)

Open In New Tab troy hunt.com, get wesleyac.com
Open In New Tab dragas.net, get troyhunt.com
Open In New Tab shlegeris.com, get dragas.net

          • Steps to reproduce:
There are two (probably) related issues relating to Favicons:

            Issue 1:
            On Mobile:

            • Go to www.dpreview.com, Note that the Favicon updates in the URL bar and tab switcher
            • Go to si.edu, Note that the Favicon remains as the DPReview Favicon in both the URL Bar and the tab switcher
            • NOTE: this behavior is inconsistent based on the site.
              • Hacker News -> si.edu works as expected.
              • DPReview -> si.edu does not
              • DPReview -> Hacker News -> si.edu shows the DPReview Favicon

            Issue 2:
            On Mobile:

            • Clear tabs from previous test
            • Go to si.edu, Note that the favicon is the default "internet" favicon (suggesting the site does not have a favicon)
            • Go to si.edu in a desktop browser, Note that there is a Favicon for this site

            Expected behavior:
            Issue 1:

            • I expect the Favicon to update to the correct Favicon for the site. Alternatively, I expect the favicon to revert to the default favicon if the site does not have one.

            Issue 2:

            • I expect the Favicon to exist on Mobile if it exists on the desktop browser

            Orion, OS version; hardware type:
            Hardware: iPhone 12 Pro Max
            Orion: 1.0.3.107-beta (WebKit 8612.3.6.04)

            Image/Video:
DP Review -> Hacker News -> SI

Hacker News -> SI -> DP Review -(back button)-> SI

            • Steps to reproduce:

              • Open a new browser window
              • Resize the window to half the screen size
              • Make new tabs until the tab title disappears and only the favicon is shown
              • Resize the browser window to the full screen width
              • The tab titles do not get shown, but new tabs have their titles shown

              Expected behavior:

              • I would expect tab titles to be shown when there is enough space

              Orion and macOS:
              Orion Version: 0.99.108.1-beta (WebKit 613.1.10)
MacOS Big Sur Version: 11.5.2 (20G95)

              Image/Video:

              • Steps to reproduce:

                • Enable side tabs.

                • Create a nested tab set.

                • Shrink tab bar until text disappears (just showing favicon)

                • collapse carrot on left is too small, most of the carrot does not function as a button.

                  Expected behavior:
Expect full carrot to be expand/collapse button

                Orion and macOS:
                Orion v0.99.108-beta
                MacOS BigSur v11.5.2
