  • Website tinting works on all sites, but not when using the Momentum extension. I added Momentum from both Chrome and Firefox stores but same behavior on both. Can this be fixed? See image below.

Expected it to display website tinting like on Safari

    Orion 0.99.130.2-beta

    Sequoia (15)

    • Zotero doesn't capture all results. See how the results do not match up to the items on the page. This is consistent no matter what search terms I use.

Also, minor, maybe separate issue, but clicking cancel on the pop up extension box only makes it reappear. You must hit the red X for it to close.

I expected it to capture the correct results on the page like this one in Safari

      Version 0.99.126.2-beta (WebKit 618.1.2)

      Sonoma (14)

      • Steps to reproduce:
<Include steps to reproduce the bug; Did you try using Compatibility mode? If applicable, does Safari behave in the same way?>

        Expected behavior:
        <What you expected to happen?>

        Orion, OS version; hardware type:

        Image/Video:
<Copy/paste or drag and drop to upload images or videos (up to 20MB)>

        • I searched for this but couldn't find anything (which is surprising) – it would be great to be able to sync Orion settings between systems. Even if Orion is installed on only one system, sync capability could allow you to restore settings and history to a new Orion install, which would be really useful.

            • Install Zotero connector (extension) either from Firefox or chrome marketplace.
            • try to access options > nothing is clickable
            • try to click on the icon when visiting supported site like https://arxiv.org (choose random paper like https://arxiv.org/abs/1102.0001)
            • Nothing happens

            Expected behavior:
            <What you expected to happen?>
I should be able to control the options and when clicking on extension icon it prompt to add the paper to zotero

            Orion and macOS:

            Orion Version 0.99.109.1-beta
            Mac Monterey 12.0.1

            Image/Video:
<Copy/paste or drag and drop to upload images or videos (up to 20MB)>

This is what orion shows for options

            • Steps to reproduce:
Open any webpage and begin to scroll. It seems a bit choppy compared to things like Chrome, Brave, etc.

              Expected behavior:
Have more responsive/smoother scrolling across all webpages.

              • I'd like to be able to change the default mapping associated with an extension's actions. For instance, Bitwarden normally autofills with Command-Shift-L, but this is bound to My Library by default. Other browsers typically have a page where supported actions can be remapped to specific keystrokes, and this'd be useful here as well.

                • I always end up searching for the extensions and can never find them. Can we make them an option under Preferences as well as Library? Thanks.

                  • When you are not on the "new tab" page, there's no clear visual distinction between a regular and private window (at least that I can see). I think it's important there is one.

Firefox adds a small icon/motif to the upper right of the window's chrome, Safari 15 seems to show a "tab group" label of "Private", etc.

It may also be worth labelling the Window name (as seen in the Window menu) too with something like (Private) as a suffix?

                      For colored tab chrome
Compact tabs need to be added. Just like Safari's, except they use Safari 14's design for the compact tabs, and also have a spot near the window buttons and toolbar buttons, and the right corner near the "+" button wherein the browser is draggable with the mouse. There should also be an option for people such as myself who want a web-application-like experience and wish to remove flotato and instead use this browser except with the colored tab color option on, in which I have to resort to Safari to use instead. I would suggest making an option for users who would like this, as well as tab colors
