    • I noticed lately that watching some Youtube videos full-screen results in a noticable flicker. I don't see a flicker viewing the same videos on the same machine with Mojave's Safari.

Here is a video capture from my (very old) phone:

Note that Stats for Nerds needs to be off and I've only noticed the flicker in full-screen mode with the player controls hidden (i.e. with the cursor off to the side so they autohide). The flicker appears to be some interaction with the autohide/autodimming.

I have not seen this flicker when viewing the same content with Orion under Catalina but that's also a different hardware/configuration (retina laptop screen versus external 1080p TV)

I expected the video to play in full-screen similar to Safari on the same machine and generally with no flicker not in the content.

Version 0.99.128.2.1-rc (WebKit 619.1.11.111.2) Build date Aug 4 2024 Mac mini (macOS Mojave 10.14.6 build 18G9323)

      Mojave (10.14)

      • I've tried to enable compatibility mode, but it does not solve the problem. The problem does not appear in Firefox... although maybe i should try Safari too, since Orion is based on Webkit

        Steps to reproduce:

        1. Open Github and login
        2. Open a pull request
        3. Type into issue title or main textfield

        Reproducible: Yes, every time.

        Expected behavior:
Being able to to type with no apparent lag

        Actual behaviour
Every time I type, hundreds of errors are fired into the console and the field freezes for a second or so.
The same happens when I type into the issue main field.

        • Steps to reproduce:
Unfortunately I have not found a way to reproduce this behavior, it just started happening a few versions ago.
I have tried various things to fix it, except resetting the browser or reinstalling.

The things I've tried so far:

          • Opening a new window instance with a clean profile
          • Re-launching Orion

Any ideas how i can fix this, as a last resort, I could try to reinstall or use the "reset Orion" button but i'd like to avoid that.

As you can see in the video, it's not just a graphical artifact, all the duplicated instances work.

          Expected behavior:
Only having one icon of the sidebar appearing, regardless of it being expanded or not.

          Actual behavior:
Seeing multiple instances of the expand/collapse sidebar button as well as dropdown menu.
