  • In most browsers, you can middle click on a non-link to enable auto-scroll:

i.e. you middle click and this icon appears, then the page auto-scrolls in whatever direction you move your mouse. This is useful for creating a slow-scrolling screen for reading longform text, like a teleprompter. If configured properly (where moving the mouse further from the autoscroll icon increases speed), it is also a convenient way to scroll large distances quickly.

    • In Firefox I can right click any tab and mute it, even if it isn't currently playing audio. This is useful for websites that I know will be playing audio soon -- I mute them before they start.

Also, in general, everything I can do to a tab should probably be surfaced in that right-click menu. Having the mute button be in the address bar was not obvious to me, and it disappears when there is not active audio, whereas I want to mute the tab before the audio even starts.

      • Steps to reproduce:
        Open twitter timeline
Open DMs popup in bottom right, view a conversation
        Scroll through twitter timeline

        Expected behavior:
I expected the DM conversation to stay the same. What actually happens is portions of the DM text vanish.

        • Hello!

I utilize the "Copy Image" option all the time. However I have been finding that in some places, such as twitter, when I copy an image then paste it I get the URL instead of the actual image. Apparently this is the same behavior in the Safari however the other browsers (I've tested Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Brave, and Opera) don't do that. It seems like this is happening because the URL is being copied alongside the image. This what I found on this topic:

          Thank You!
