When iPad is connected to physical keyboard, forms autofill prompt is not showing

Yannick the thing is, that for me Orion is not showing up the bar. But what I mean here are only login forms. The bottom bar pops up for text suggestions in text forms every time, but never for passwords autofill.

I'm sorry, but we tried on three iPads with external keyboards and were unable to reproduce the issue. Therefore, we cannot correct it. I'm marking the ticket as "Nofix," but we will obviously keep in mind that this problem exists.

Yannick Darn, that's a bummer. Was it all with the Magic Keyboards, or some keyboards over Bluetooth?
Regardless, thanks for taking the time to investigate!

For me, it was with a cheap Bluetooth keyboard.

i have the same issue, and i also have a Magic Keyboard, so maybe it's only an issue for those?

After Yannick's comment I also tried external BT keyboard (keychron) and I couldn't get the password popup to show at all when it was connected. With that Magic Keyboard it's at least easy to detach for that short moment to fill in the password.

and as my device password manager I am using Proton Pass.

apparently its iPadOS problem and I finally found out why.
In keyboard settings there's one toggle called "shortcuts" - and with it disabled, the prompt for password does not appear anywhere. but once I enabled it, then it started to work with Orion!

So, from my side, I think this issue can be closed.
