Add an option to already have the keyboard open, with focus in the URL input field when opening a new tab. The current workflow is to open a new tab, tap in the URL field, wait for the keyboard to open and then start typing.
For me at least, this workflow would be improved if the keyboard was already open, and focus was already in the URL field, so that I could just tap new tab, and immediately start typing. Setting this behavior as an option would be great.

Arc search implemented this because they felt it was the primary workflow for most users - and I really appreciated this behavior in the browser.

    slim there's already an option for this, go to settings>tabs>show keyboard in new tab (or something like that)

        That option sounds promising but it doesn’t work for me, new tabs appear without the keyboard regardless of that setting.

        Edit: just tried using the TestFlight version, doesn’t work there either.

              Apparenty we broke it in the current release , will be fixed in next release.

              Thanks, it’s working again on the latest TestFlight build.
