Add Pop-up Blocker settings on mobile

Vlad Pop-blocker setting is not available in the Settings in iPad mobile version of Orion. If it is, can you please post a picture of where to find it? I have tried but cannot find the pop-up blocker setting. I only see Content Blocker with “Basic” and “Full” options but even turning off the Content blocker does not solve the problem.

Vlad The pop blocker settings were not included in the most recent update for iPad Orion released just yesterday. Do you know when this feature will be released?

Vlad Hi, I am just following up on the plans to add a “Pop-up blocker On/Off” feature to the iPad OS Orion. It’s been 3 months since the original post and this feature is still not implemented in any of the updates so far. Could you please prioritize this in the next update? I love using Orion but lack of the ability to turn off “Pop-up Blocker” is really impeding my workflow and I am forced to use another browser off and on. I’d love to use Orion as my only browser but this feature is really needed in order to make Orion mainstream. Thanks so much!

Hello; I had reported back in December 2024 that iOS Mobile version of Orion does not have the “Pop-up blocker” toggle that Safari Mobile browser has. The ability to switch this toggle on or off really has a huge effect on the functionality of some websites. Vlad had marked it as “Planned” feature for next update release but 5 months later now, there is still no “Pop-up Blocker” on Orion iOS Mobile browser. Can you please add this feature as it is causing a lot of website to not function properly for me! Would really appreciate a solution. thanks

Yannick @Vlad As you can see quite a few people want this feature added to ipad Orion. It’s been a year since the original request was submitted. Can you please let us know when this feature will be added? thanks

Could this be why Yomitan extension isn’t working properly ? If so, I second adding this pop-up blocker setting !

I am also trying to use Yomitan and am getting blocked by the popup setting so I would definitely appreciate it!

Adding my +1 here. Getting back Yomitan support on iPad Orion would be incredibly helpful for reading Japanese.
