Currently it's not clear if the URL has been copied to the clipboard. It would be nice if a nicely designed toast showed up in the top-right corner that said something like "Copied current URL". This way it's clear to the user that the URL has indeed been copied.

Here's an example:

This kind of thing would also be great when opening a New Tab in Background.

Use case would be when using Vertical Tabs or Focus Mode, or Fullscreen with Toolbar hidden, as there is otherwise no visual feedback to the user (unless using an unnamed window, in which case only visual feedback is the 'x Tabs' increments by 1 in the toolbar).

Zeezus Yes, I completely agree. Toasts are great for all kinds of things like that.

Just wanted to create feature request, but it showed that it's already here. I don't understand why such simple feature isn't implemented yet. How can user know that it's copied? 🙂 Simple Toast message.

The visual feedback is already present through system interaction, as pressing cmd c highlights Edit menu.

+1 to this. Although the Edit menu is highlighted, I much prefer Arc’s very visible toast. It’s especially nice if you are in fullscreen mode and the Edit menu is invisible.

Vlad That is not the case when the Menu Bar is not visible, as a result of the system setting "Automatically hide and show the menu bar".
