In Orion on iPhone, I the auto close tabs function is not working. After uninstalling and reinstalling the app, it still is not working.

I have tab auto close set to 1 day. Expecting it to automatically close all my tabs when the next day starts OR after 24hrs of inactivity with the tab.

1.3.7 (15) (WebKit 8618.1.15.10.5), iOS 17.4

    Hi folks,

I was trying to find another issue as suggested in the comment above but this seems to be the one to track this particular problem.

The auto close tabs does not seem to work on iOS. I'm in the last RC: 1.3.8(13)

When set to "after one day", I would expect that all tabs that haven't been active for more than 1 day were automatically closed. That does not seem to be the case.

It is not the end of the world because they should be suspended (according to another option), i.e., not consuming resources, and one can always do a "close all tabs" from the main window in order to reduce the clutter.

However, it would be a good quality of life improvement that would make your experience with the browser better.

Thanks for your commitment in building such a great product.
    Best.

This appears to still be happening; Orion keeps opening additional tabs on search even though I don't want it to so I set it to autoclose old tabs after one day but it won't do that either. I currently have 8 tabs open and 5 of them are Kagi search.

I want my browser to have one tab unless I tell it otherwise, this behaviour is obnoxious.

@Vlad this still seems to be nonfunctioning. My tabs stay open for weeks when my setting specifies to close after one day.
