iGifted Vlad As mentioned i see this most often in new tabs like eBay for example or something that'll prompt a new tab/popup. Not sure if this helps and yes I used a new profile/compatbility mode
atgranted DanielN I hate to be that guy but I can't seem to replicate with these steps. I'm on a clean profile, no extensions, and in compatibility mode. Can you share a screen capture of your method?
DanielN it seems to require scrolling on the tab to be frozen, but it happens 99% of the times for me:
dino @orionlover @DanielN @jbergstroem @CyberArchon can you please share little more details? Mac Modal name Processor info Any external GPU? Any external display? Is the issue started only after 126.4.1.4 release? Can you try disabling GPU Process: DOM Rendering from Experimental Features and relaunch Orion and try reproducing same?
guardiangate4110 dino MacBook Pro 16" (2021) M1 Pro No external GPU No external display Started for me somewhere in a RC between 0.99.126.4.1 and 0.99.127 Yes, I was able to reprouce it first try with GPU Process: DOM Rendering disabled.
dino guardiangate4110 can you please try below builds to compare if only the second one is affected with the issue. https://cdn.kagi.com/updates/14_0/126.4.1.5.zip https://cdn.kagi.com/updates/14_0/126.4.1.6.zip
guardiangate4110 dino I wasn't able to reproduce it with these two but maybe others can try too. From what I remember the first RC with this issue was the one released on Feb. 8th 2024, the one with the new 120Hz setting. https://orionfeedback.org/d/498-120-hz-refresh/4
dino guardiangate4110 @DanielN @jberglinds @CyberArchon can you please try this Dev build (we reverted 120fps code from WebKit to check if thats causing regression) https://www.icloud.com/iclouddrive/013ETxbaMBvpESXzT5CfN_Y2Q#Orion-14.0-127.1.0.0 Note: Please don't replace your original RC with that, as this will not recieve automatic updates.
Anatomy5803 These are steps to reproduce for me: open orionfeedback in a new tab and scroll open youtube.com/trending in a new tab and scroll select orionfeedback as the current tab using the mouse ctrl+tab from orionfeedback tab to youtube.com/trending tab So similar to what DanielN posted above
SerViette I can’t offer much, but I an experiencing this problem and I have an M2 Pro machine, (120hz)
jbergstroem Mac Modal name: MacBook Pro 14-inch, 2023 Processor info: Apple M2 Max Any external GPU: No Any external display: No Is the issue started only after 126.4.1.4 release: I've used 126.4.1.5 and 126.4.1.6 for an hour now; seems to work. Can you try disabling GPU Process: DOM Rendering from Experimental Features and relaunch Orion and try reproducing same: could reproduce with it disabled Testing Orion-14.0-127.1.0.0 at the moment - all good so far.
toineenzo I also have this since the latest beta. When I resize the window, the webview gets refreshed. Just turned off 120fps rendering and will see if that fixes it.
