love to see progress on this, it already feels so much nicer to use orion with the sliding sidebar in the latest rc, the design and ux can be iterated on, but this is so nice, huge thanks!

No change ever makes everyone happy, it would seem! But further down, I'd love a way to disable the auto-hiding feature (as I currently don't use the sidebar at all). 
I don't understand why this feature would be introduced, turned on automaitcally for everyone, and not have a way to turn it off.
aexvir How do you enable the sliding sidebar? I do not see it in the RC? I am on the latest version!!
quantumgolem I wanna echo this sentiment a lot. I love Orion because it's mostly native, but I can have all the customizations, power features, and so many other things that doesn't make sense for Apple to support in-house. Safari is great for the average user, but for those of us who are looking to do a lot more with our browser, we can have all the niceties of Safari with so much extra.
Also, the feature seems to be working intermittenly for me, but it's a nice QoL upgrade!
