Steps to reproduce:

  1. go to fullscreen.
  2. Uncheck View->Always Show Toolbar in Full Screen
  3. open a new tab

Expected behavior:
observe traffic lights and the sidebar icon appear
also, there is no gap between the top of the window selector and top of the display.

      Expected behavior:
      The window switcher should have some vertical padding when the title bar is hidden to avoid looking weird

          The toolbar overlaps with the vertical tabs sidebar when the "Always show toolbar in fullscreen" is disabled.

          Steps to reproduce from a clean profile:

          1. Disable the "Always show toolbar in fullscreen" option.
          2. Make the window full screen.
          3. Open the vertical tabs sidebar.
          4. Focus on the vertical tabs sidebar by clicking on another tab or creating a new tab.
          5. Note that the toolbar shows and overlaps with the sidebar.

          The toolbar should not overlap with the vertical tabs sidebar.

            Merged 1 post from Toolbar overlapping with sidebar when set to hide in full screen mode.

              Does not happen in safari, but when you open the start page, even if its not with Command T, the traffic lights appear like they do in the attached screenshot, and it doesn't look quite right.
              My tabs settings are as follows, and the issue still occurs without extensions.

              When opening the start page, I would expect the traffic lights to not show up, or if they have to it would look like the image attached.
