Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install either Chrome or Firefox extension.
  2. Install SafeInCloud application.
  3. Open SafeInCloud. Add a website entry with a login/password and website = Amazon.com.
  4. Open the login form on Amazon.com.
  5. Activate the extension by clicking its button on the button bar.

Expected behavior:
The extension must either fill in the login and password, or activate the companion app to unlock if it was locked.

Actual behavior
The extension opens in the loading state.

    @Vlad is there any progress on that? Password manager is the #1 extension I use daily and it's very frustrating to paste passwords manually. It seems the issue not in SafeInCloud app or extension but rather something else because there are so many similar bugs in the tracker.

      alexeysolonets We support most password managers. This one seems to be less known as only two upvotes indicate that. Between this and 2000 other open issues, it is difficult for our team to go after this at this moment (we ar eonly 3 devs)

        @Vlad thank you for your reply. I can understand that working on 2000 bugs only with 3 devs is not an easy task. OK, maybe this password manager is not as popular as 1Password but my intuition says that there's something more happening than just a random extension stopped working. Right around the same time there were other bugs reported which have identical or similar symptoms:

        1. MasterPassword (both Firefox and Chrome) not working
        2. Password extension software Elpass doesn't automatically fill in the account info and password
        3. KeepassXC Browser-Extension UI Elements for Saving/Updating Credential Entries Broken
        4. Hunchly extension not working
        5. Private Internet Access (PIA) VPN extension doesn't show anything (blank extension window/popup)
        6. Elpass doesn't automatically fill in the account info and password

        Can it be that communication with companion apps is broken?

          Hi @Vlad, will sponsoring of this issue help move this bug (and potentially other related) towards a fix? 🙂 Love the browser and dreaming of the day when I'm able to autofill passwords again.

            Same here... In the begining it was not working with plugins on chrome store, however I managed it working with Firefox extension. Yet while I switched to multiple profile, none of them worked, including the one that was working.
