Vlad Agree of course you couldn't enable Low Power automatically, without giving user choice, might it be viable as a user preference?
As for the risk of losing important context/input etc, of course I was piggy backing off the good refinements discussed here, re those very points — i.e. assuming playing audio, and form input, were excluded from Low Power Mode, I'd personally be very happy to opt for it be be automatically enabled on battery.
This may be less of an issue for Silicon Macs, but my 6-Core Intel Core i7 has pathetic battery performance, and I'm tethered to a desk — so it'd be awesome to use Low Power Mode (and maybe Tab Groups) to dramatically lessen browser load I need open for work (Jira, Confluence + other docos, Miro, research, myriad other web apps.)
Likewise, I understand your conservative approach re enabling at 10%… but (again for me personally) that wouldn't buy me much time! 😅
Thanks for your time. 😃
