Disabling content blockers fixes this for me too.

moorejs This is why 'Have you tried with compatibility mode" is a question in bug report template 🙂

Vlad Yes, my apologies for ignoring that. Should bugs be reported if they are not present with compatibility mode enabled?

      • Vlad replied to this.

this might be a google problem, i've had this same issue both in Safari and Chrome

          11 days later

          Steps to reproduce:

          1. create a document on google docs
          2. click the sharing button
          3. background darkens but the actual window doesn't load.

however, the problem goes away on compatibility mode.

          Expected behavior:
          Sharing Panel loads

          Orion, OS version; hardware type:
Latest version of Orion (as of 21 Feb, 2023); 14' M1 Pro 2021

          Image/Video:

Merged 2 posts from Google Docs Sharing Panel does not load properly.

              Steps to reproduce:
pressing share button on google spreadhseets does not open ui to share documents. Turning off compatibility mode does not fix the issue.

              Expected behavior:
              sharing UI to appear

              Version 0.99.123.2-beta (WebKit 615.1.16.1)

                11 days later
Merged 1 post from Pressing share button on google spreadsheets results in a blank screen.

                  Steps to reproduce:

go to any Google Sheet and try to Share the spreadhsset with someone else...

The window does not come up in regular mode but works in Compatibility Mode.

As I expect that Compatibility Mode is not the 'goal', i'm filling out a bug report.
<Include steps to reproduce the bug; Did you try using Compatibility mode (https://help.kagi.com/orion/support-and-community/troubleshooting-webpage-issues.html)? Did you try using a clean Orion Profile? If applicable, does Safari behave in the same way?>

                  Expected behavior:
                  <What you expected to happen?>
                  The Share spreadsheet window appears

                  Orion, OS version; hardware type:
                  Version 0.99.123.3-beta (WebKit 615.1.16.1) / Macbook Pro 2.9 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i9/32gig running Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68)

                  Image/Video:
<Copy/paste or drag and drop to upload images or videos (up to 20MB)>

this issue also occurs in other google apps like docs and slides once you click share there is nothing you can do until you reload the page.

Merged 2 posts from Google Sheets Share button window is invisible ;(.

                        Steps to reproduce:
This is completely ad-hoc and random, so alas there are no steps to repeat/reproduce. Just using Orion for long periods.

                        Expected behavior:
Under the File menu the Share option should be visible. Hovering over this with the mouse cursor should reveal various applications e.g. Mail, Notes etc.

                        Actual behavior:
Under the File menu, the Share option is greyed out entirely. Hovering the mouse cursor over this does nothing. The option has been disabled somehow.

                        Orion, OS version; hardware type:
                        Version 0.99.113.2-beta (WebKit 613.1.12)
                        macOS 12.3.1

                        Image/Video:
<Copy/paste or drag and drop to upload images or videos (up to 20MB)>

TommyRot We would need exact steps to reproduce to begin debugging it

                            a year later
Merged 2 posts from Share menu appears greyed out in File menu.

@Vlad TommyRot's issue is separate — this thread is about the Google Drive interface, not the Share button in the File menu.

                                Affected domains:

                                • drive.google.com
                                • docs.google.com
                                • sites.google.com
                                • www.google.com/maps/d/edit (when attempting to share a My Maps map via Drive)
                                • script.google.com
                                • colab.research.google.com
                                • jamboard.google.com
                                • (any other domains with Drive integration, possibly including third-party domains?)

In each case, it works if you disable content blockers, but this is a lot of domains to manually make exceptions for (especially if you have multiple profiles on multiple devices!)
