Page automatically refreshes when an embedded link for pdf is clicked on the university website Canvas. It is supposed to open a preview of the link within the original page. This has not happened in the past versions of Orion, but since the new updates it has persisted through a few versions of Orion.

Anyone managed to figure out a solution? Any updates?
Having the same issue unfortunately and compatibility mode seems to not fix the issue when im on pages with a pdf
We managed to fix this bug, if you have access to RC, you can test it out.
Thanks a lot for fixing this! I've been checking on this thread literally every week for a couple of months now because it's the biggest reason I've not been able to use Orion. Looking forward to it coming out on the main release.
Steps to reproduce:
I haven't had this issue on other websites but my university website, which uses canvas, isn't able to display pdfs in Orion but is on other browsers. The issue also happens with compatibility mode enable.
Expected behavior:
I expect the website to show the pdf as happens in Safari (at the end of the screen recording)
