Vlad Empty. It appears to only happen when set to empty.

I have this issue as well.

    Orion: 0.99.109.1-beta (WebKit 613.1.12)
    macOS: 12.1

      2 months later

This happens to me whenever I make a new window too, normal or private. And the centered text does not disappear after I start typing.

      Here are my settings:

      Orion 0.99.112-beta (WebKit 614.1.1)
      MacOS Monterey 12.2.1
      MacBook Pro 16" 2021

        a month later

I'm getting this visual glitch when opening a new window in Orion 0.99.113.1-beta (WebKit 614.1.5.7):

Merged 2 posts from visual glitch in the address bar.

Just opening a new window does it for me (I'm on macOS 13).

mentee That does not reproduce it for me unfortuantely. ANything else?

Vlad Not that I can think of. I don't know if it's expected but there's a delay in appearance too:

                • Vlad replied to this.

Vlad Start Page. After resetting Orion, the address bar is not auto-focused as long as it is not interacted with and the search engine is not set and then the issue does not occur. So it's related to auto-focusing.

mentee Are you able to produce step by steps instructions for reproducing this, from clean orion install with a video please?

Vlad Sorry but I just realized that it was specific to macOS 13.1 beta. The text is slightly shifted since the last version of Orion too.

                      • Vlad replied to this.

mentee I am on macOS 13.1 and opening a new window does not produce the bug.

It looks like this to me.

So something is missing in steps to reproduce but I am not sure what.

Vlad I even tried in a clean VM. Could it be related to the screen? I use the internal screen of a MacBook Air at default resolution.

                            No one is typing
