  • Native content blocking exception rule does not seem to be working

  • BugsDesktopDone

Vlad enabling it for all websites by default gets rid of the ads, so it seems that it's a bug with the exception rule

Vlad changed the title to Native content blocking exception rule does not seem to be working .

Ok glad we pinpointed this one. So to reproduce:

      • Disable Content blocking globally
      • Add an exception for a site eg reddit.com through prefs->websites->content blocking
      • Content blocking does not get activated on reddit.com

catch-22 Every time I prioritise just one more thing it ends being 50 things in the queue. There is just so much to be done in a browser.

eirk not fixed. the behaviour is still exactly the same as the video on the original post

update: I've tried uninstalling uBO and just going with the native adblocker, and I've noticed that it simply does not block ads on reddit regardless of the exception rule

and on that note, it seems that RES and uBO do not conflict with each other anymore

              a year later

@catch-22 I can't reproduce it and wonder if you would be able to confirm whether it's fixed.
