1password support
What version of 1Password are you using that includes "Trusted Browsers" as an option?
I'm using 1Password for Mac 8.10.9 (81009018) (the latest nightly build) and all I see is this
Thanks!
scottharris1014 I have asked about this on the 1Password forum here: https://1password.community/discussion/comment/690744/#Comment_690744

@scottharris1014 @jmanes I presume they are using a pre-production build. Not nightly, but pre-nightly even, used internally to test new features, which Agile/1P gave them access to in order to debug compatibility.
I now have the nightly build (1Password for Mac 8.10.9 (81009030)) that lets me add Orion RC as a trusted browser, which I've done:
And I've got the most current 1Password Nightly Chrome extension (1Password in the browser 2.13.14
21301400, on NIGHTLY channel).
Also using most current Orion RC on a Mac Mini M2 with most current (non-beta) MacOS:
Version 0.99.124.4.4-rc (WebKit 616.1.14.11.1)
Mac mini (macOS Ventura 13.4.1 (a) build 22F770820b)
But I'm having the same issues as before. When I use CMD-\, I get a blank 1Password box.
When I select a password, I still get a message that 1Password can't verify that Orion RC should have access to my passwords.
Filling in usernames and passwords using the drop-down box within the field sometimes works, but inconsistently (e.g., 1Password recognizes that it should be filling in my Washington Post password here, but clicking the drop down 1Password creates doesn't fill in anything):
I'm hopeful that I just missed some additional setting -- anyone getting 1Password to work with Orion RC as it should?
Oh crap ... I need the next release of Orion RC before everything goes together as expected don't I? Well if that's the case ... a big nevermind.
Working like a charm for me as well. Thanks to the contributors!
scottharris1014 I see the same issue as you on WashingtonPost. Other sites like Tumblr and bluesky worked though.
I did uninstall the 1P chrome extension and instead installed the extension from Orion RC's "popular extensions" list. I typically don't use the shortcut key, but I do see that it only pops up a blank dialog with no auto fill list.
@james Thanks for confirming it isn't just me!
Also, if it isn't too crass to ask, any chance you've got a spare Bluesky invite code?
scottharris1014 Not at the moment but I’ll shoot you one if I get any
I assume this bug is more on the 1Password side but we will see. Now that it has folks testing nightly builds maybe we will see some rapid improvement.
It seems to me that the autofill not working sometimes can be corrected by refreshing the page. For this site (orionfeedback), I had 1P locked, then unlocked it via extension (bio auth). Nothing popped up to auto fill. I then refreshed the page and it worked.

As you noticed 1Password should now work in Orion.
If you have any issues I suggest posting them in 1Password forum. We are in contact with their team and if they find anything to be on the Orion side they will let us know.

We plan to release this in Orion Beta this Saturday.
Hi Vlad and everyone,
I've just installed Orion 0.99.125-beta. I have the Nightly of 1Password. I have added Orion to the whitelisted browsers in 1Password Advanced settings. Now what do I have to do? I don't have the extension in my browser - 1Password keeps sending me to download the Safari extension. I've lost the instructions that came up when I first opened the new Orion release and I can't find anything anywhere with the instructions.
robrecord Click on Orion -> Popular Extensions... -> and install 1Password.
