I think Orion feels too stiff and choppy. Animations feel rather fast and not as smooth as other apps such as Safari.

I think it would be better if you could make things smoother or at least adjust the animation speed in the settings.

Just an extra: When you are in the tab menu (card layout) it could be cool if you could drag the tab out in a free form fashion (dragging it anywhere without it being restricted from side to side)

    Can you be more concrete? What animations exactly? Video comparison to Safari would help too.

        Sorry for not being more clear but when you go into your tab menu, it goes way too quick and not as smooth like Safari does. You also are stuck to moving tabs to one side and not being able to freely move it around.

                  Make the animation more like Safari does.

                  Details:
                  For instance, toggling the “Tab Viewer”. In Safari toggling “Cmd + Shift + \” works every time without waiting when the “Tab Viewer” is loaded, so I can dismiss the animation and return to a website, but on Orion I need to wait until it’s completed, also in Safari it seems to be “easeInOut” but in Orion it’s near to be “linear” animation.

                          Brief Summary
                          The tab view animation is jumpy and the tab doesn’t immediately shrink to its place when minimizing or grow to the full screen.

                          Details:
                          The tab shrinks to the middle first, then moves to its place. When it grows, it moves out first then grows to the middle. Safari’s animations seem to do a better job, but still aren’t perfectly smooth.

                                Hmm, I’m not sure if they’re smoother now. Swiping tabs still has that ‘stuttering’ effect.

                                EDIT: Looks like the tab swipe animations were out of scope for this FR, I'll file a separate one for those.

                                Adding to this thread, scrolling through pages/articles can feel a little janky when compared to Safari. Because the search and utility bar pops up and down suddenly it can make the scrolling experience unpleasant. See the below videos for reference. (just a note that I've cropped the top part of the phone screen off)
