Vlad Thanks for working on this feature. Looking through all the threads in this post. It looked really difficult to implement!
I do have some questions though.
If we have the switch in place and restore in place in the menu bar(?), can you clarify how many steps it will take to switch to a different windows? If it takes more than two steps, will it be possible to implement a keyboard shortcut where you press and hold some keys and any named windows you click on in the menu bar, it will activate "switch in-place" with the named windows clicked on?
My apologies for my lack of knowledge, but where are the menu items located at? Is it located next to the toolbars in the browser or are they are located on the menu bar (that is built into MacOS) that is outside of the browser? Sorry, I was kind of confused after you suggested the two window icons above.
Also, just to clarify, the difference between "Switch" and "Switch in place" is that "Switch" works like how Orion currently works right now, a new browser windows opens every time you open a new temp or named window right?
I like TheUser1′s rules for in-place switching for temp and named windows!
