These features will enhance overall usability and streamline the user experience by improving the flow of common tasks. It will make interactions more intuitive and efficient and helping users navigate the browser more smoothly.
Are you intentionally trying to ruin your browser? I stepped away for a while and recently came back, and while I do appreciate the improvements made to the user interface, it’s frustrating to see that some of the features I once relied on have been removed or significantly altered.
Bookmark Functionality
If a user has a large number of bookmarks, the browser should remember which bookmark folder was last opened. Currently, every time I click the bookmark icon, I have to manually navigate through the entire folder structure again. This repetitive process slows down workflow and makes managing bookmarks unnecessarily tedious. It would be much more efficient if the browser could remember the last accessed folder and reopen it automatically when the bookmarks are next viewed.
Bookmark Menu Behavior
In previous versions, when you opened the bookmark menu and clicked on a bookmarked link, the menu stayed open instead of immediately closing. This was a great design choice because it allowed users to quickly browse through multiple bookmarks—especially when you weren’t sure which specific link you wanted. Now, the bookmark menu closes as soon as you click a link, which disrupts the flow and makes it time-consuming to return and try a different bookmark.
Since the browser also doesn’t remember the last opened bookmark folder, this change makes it even more inconvenient to navigate bookmarks efficiently. The bookmark menu should only close when the user deliberately clicks elsewhere on the screen, signaling that they’re done with it.
- Video Downloader Suggestion
Also, what about adding a built-in video downloader? Many other browsers already include this feature—such as Aloha Browser, Float Video Saver, and several others. It’s something users clearly value, and it would make your browser far more versatile and appealing.
I only say all of this because I genuinely want your browser to do well. I’m currently using Brave but would really like to make a permanent switch to this browser.
When it comes to the bookmarks, I’m not suggesting a new feature that never existed — it used to be there. But with the recent update, it was removed. Why? I honestly don’t know.
That said, you’ve done a great job overall, and I truly appreciate what you’ve built. The ad blocking is excellent, and the ability to customize the toolbar is a great touch. There are also many other user suggestions that I believe are worth considering, and I’m sharing all of this because I want to see this browser continue to grow and succeed.
Final Suggestion
But if you’re going to ignore all of my suggestions, can you at least please add this one feature: In Settings → Appearance → Customize Toolbar, can you add a button that lets users quickly add the current tab to a designated bookmark folder? This would eliminate the need to click Share and then Add to Bookmark, making bookmarking much faster and more intuitive.
