What does your feature entail?

  1. Have the vertical tab sidebar to be configurable so it can be on the right side
  2. Have the ability for a user to hover/peek tabs into view (like macOS dock hide/show on hover)

What is it for?
Users that might be dealing with vertical monitors (me) or different window layout systems.

How will it affect existing workflows or user experience?
When using a vertical monitor, I don't want to have condensed horizontal space when I use vertical tabs + another website is also using a vertical navigation on the same side.

As a user, you'll be able to see configure Vertical Tab Sidebar position after turning on vertical tabs within Settings -> Tabs.

As a user, you'll be able to see configure Tab Sidebar Peek after turning on vertical tabs within Settings -> Tabs.

As a user, you'll be able to see your tab navigation not compete with a site that also does a sidebar navigation by having it on the opposite side of the browser.

As a user, you can quickly peek items you're trying to interact without page resizing when the tab sidebar shows.

Since these points are already addressed in the 2 items specified by @eirk, I'm closing the ticket.
