bestlem This is more of a question. How do I get a web app to allow me to select a password from saved ones. I use 1password and am confused if it is supported or no because of https://orionfeedback.org/d/5834-allow-disabling-all-extensions-for-web-apps-on-an-app-basis saying extensions work and https://orionfeedback.org/d/6016-implement-tools-extensions-menu-in-web-apps/29 saying they don't Anyway in my web app there is no prompt for autofilling a password or any icon or menu to access passwords of any type 1password or Orion. There is the normal macOS right click menu that has a link to Apple Passwords but can't get that to fill in the passwords field. The web app shows no evidence of any extensions being available.
Yannick Hey, To be sure I understand, you're talking about the web apps that you installed using the feature: Tools > Install This Site as an App? Which version of macOS are you using?
Yannick Opps sorry @bestlem ... the post has been lost 🙂 Yes, that's possible and will get inherited from parent profile. And the native password auto-fill is currently broken due to code signing issue, so we are thinking about some solution to fix that.
bestlem OK my main issue is without passwords - of any form 1password, Apple or Orion this whole thing is unuseable. So I'll wait until your solution. However the other point is that there seems to be no way to access any extensions.
