  • Steps to reproduce:

    1. Setup iCloud with PIN protected Yubikey
    2. Try to login to iCloud web using Orion Beta or RC
    3. iCloud will inform you that the browser needs and update
    4. The same issue happens with Firefox but not with Safari, Safari TP or Chrome and its derivates
    5. No other site with Yubikey and PIN has these issues, I've tested a bunch of them.

    Expected behavior:
Be asked for a PIN and then proceed to iCloud.

    Orion, OS version; hardware type:
Orion Version 0.99.125-rc (WebKit 616.1.22) (both beta and RC have this issue), MacOS 13.5, MacBook Pro M1

    • I am not really sure if this is a bug or a feature request, but it seems that Profiles other than the "Default" one are not synced via iCloud. Perhaps this is hard to do with the current implementation or is planned.

      Steps to reproduce:
Have two desktop computers using Orion and syncing via iCloud. Create a new profile on machine A.

      Expected behavior:
I would expect the new profile to appear, after a couple of minutes, on machine B as an available profile with its own history, bookmarks, etc.

      Orion, OS version; hardware type:
      0.9.121.1-beta, macOS Ventura.

      • Every citizen in Sweden uses an app called BankID (https://www.bankid.com/en/) to authorise themselves to various banks, government and other services. This app is a must to be able to do certain things on mobile phone. As of now, mobile version of Orion doesn't know how to deal when the site tries to open bankid:// which makes it impossible to access certain websites.

To test this, go to a website such as https://www.telenor.se/mitt-telenor/ and click on "BankID" --> "Öppna Mobilt BankID". Orion will try to look for an app for a second and then fail saying that it doesn't know how to deal with that URL.

        • As I understand it, Orion currently only uses the EasyList and EasyPrivacy filter lists for the integrated content blocker. The native adblocker would be more useful if users could add custom filter lists (like the regional variants of EasyList for non-english websites).
