    • MuteTab (https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/mutetab/acofndgbcimipbpeoplfjcapdbebbmca), an extension I use to prevent random particularly loud websites from startling me at 2am seems to have trouble actually muting.

Ideally the core functionality of automatically muting websites would actually mute websites. Alas, even manually setting it to mute or unmute through the extension doesn't have any effect.

      • Seconded, the desktop version is equally busted. Tried both the Chrome and Firefox versions and neither work adequately. Firefox will at least show the right click menu (and also Bing and TinEye seem to work if chosen through the toolbar icon), Chrome doesn't even do that. Would be great if it was fixed.

Alternatively, this seems like something that would work wonderfully as an included browser feature, perhaps with the addition of a certain privacy-respecting search engine.
