  • I realized that this bug is still present in 0.99.113 running macOS 10.14.6.

    • Fixed on Mojave in 112 beta (WebKit 614.1.1), thanks!

      • Steps to reproduce:
Install uBO, try to navigate the settings, it won't let you scroll up or down in the various menus.

        Expected behavior:
I expect I can scroll uBO settings. Same issue as https://orionfeedback.org/d/575-ubo-broken-functionality, tagged as "Done" but stil present in 10.14.6. Reinstalled uBO to no avail.

        Orion, OS version; hardware type:
        Orion Version 0.99.111-beta (WebKit 613.1.12)
        macOS Mojave 10.14.6 (18G9323)
        MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch, 2019)

        • Vlad Unfortunately in Mojave the bug is still present.

          • The only site I happened to notice this issue is here, but I post on forums with Safari usually. No precise step to reproduce this, just click Reply and enter text. More often than not you'll notice the cursor lies a space forward compared where it should be and sometimes two. While writing this post everything went smooth, but yesterday I almost gave up suggesting a feature because it was a real mess.

            • I hope this makes it clearer. It doesn't happen every time but it drives me nuts. I'm pressing only the dot and delete keys, the cursor is one character too forward but sometimes is two and it's a real pain.

              • As per title, Safari shows the tab bar only when at least two tabs are open. Since the tab bar lies below the toolbar, just like in Safari, it gets in the way pointlessly when only one tab is open. I'm not sure whether this is a bug or feature in Orion.

BTW, this is the third time I enter this message because it keeps vanishing when I try to add a screenshot. Bug, feature or I'm a dimwit?

P.S. This time I succeeded dragging the images instead of click on upload button.

                • Actually I have this same issue on Mojave. I didn't realize yet. It becomes patent when you make Orion's window smaller. I can't remember whether it was the same with 0.99.108.

                  • Sorry, I had better made more thorough search. Thank you.

                    • Steps to reproduce:
Open Orion and browse, leave it open for days, quit and relaunch.

                      Expected behavior:
uBlock Origin should autoupdate to the latest version but does not (both from Firefox and Chrome store). I have to uninstall and then reinstall it. It's my only extension which the developer updates frequently, so I can't tell if other extensions are affected (Simple Translate, e.g.)

                      Orion and macOS:
                      Orion 0.99.108.1-beta (Webkit 613.1.10)
                      Mojave 10.14.6 (18G9323)

                      • Well, I think I can't make it clearer... In the first screen I go to BookmarksMenu, then the menu opens and I go on selecting Audio and Music subfolder: all the single bookmarks show up (second screenshot). But if I select Lyrics subfolder it looks like it's empty, but it's not (third screenshot). I have no clue why some subfolders show their contents and some does not. The number of bookmarks inside is irrelevant.

All bookmarks and subfolders show up just fine in the sidebar with the shortcut ⌃⌘1

What I'd like is a Bookmark menu just like Safari's and not Firefox, Opera etc. I understand this may be not feasible, I'm just saying that Orion present bookmark menu is cumbersome imho.

                        • piratx I think the problem is with Firefox way of dealing with bookmarks, which I'm not accustomed to (and don't really like at all). But Orion follows in Firefox footsteps so I'll make out 😀 As far as I'm concerned, I can use all subfolders from Safari bookmark menu using the ⌃⌘1 shortcut, but only a few directly through the menu. Others won't show their contents no matter how long I wait and I have no clue why. When compared to Safari 14, browsing the Bookmark menu the Firefox way is cumbersome to say the very least imho.
