Received the update yesterday and I can confirm that it's fixed. Thank you very much for responding so quickly!
I personally like the rounded tabs, but I have noticed a few more quirks:

Contrary to the behaviour everywhere else, the seperator between the pinned and normal tabs doesn't always dissapear; I believe there are only two scenarios where this error occurs -
A normal tab is selected (any tab beyond the left-most); the seperator remains when hovering over the final pinned tab:
A pinned tab is selected (any but the right-most pinned tab); the seperator remains when hovering over the first normal tab:
If you hover over an inactive tab, directly next to the active tab (either side), the hover colour gets cut off:

If you have multiple tabs open and drag the final one to re-order, the right-hand side of that tab doesn't have the correct rounding:
Once it swaps place with the other tab, pay attention to the original tab being dragged, it has a similar same error to this (now fixed):

You will see on the left-hand side of the selected tab that its shadowing is messed up and there's no rounded edge above the one on its left:

However, they didn't spot or touch upon this particular issue.
