  • portastar I think what the OP means is that there is an ugly, empty area under the search bar.

    • I noticed that the Orion loading progress bar behaviour is different from Safari's.

In Safari, the progress bar usually stops at around 1/10, then finishes instantly, like this:

Whereas in Orion, it also stops at 1/10 of the bar, but the finishing animation is a bit different:

Coming from Safari, I prefer the Safari behaviour much more, so I'd be grateful if you could add an option to change the progress bar behaviour to match Safari's.

      • Is it possible to add a built-in resource manager to limit the resources (CPU, RAM, Network, etc.) used by the browser, and possibly also by each tab? Similar to what Opera GX does.

This will give the user more control over how much resources the browser uses.

I'm aware of this, but the default size could be changed to make the user experience better. Of course, this is just a minor niche detail.

          • The sidebar is very narrow by default, to the extent where it does not show "Reading List" fully.

            Orion, OS version; hardware type:
            Version 0.99.122-beta (WebKit 615.1.11.7); M1 MacBook Air (macOS Ventura 13.0 build 22A380)

            • Steps to reproduce:
When typing in the address bar, the autocomplete 'flickers' (i.e. disappears and reappears a split second later) every time I type a letter. As shown in the video below.

              Expected behavior:
The autocomplete results will update smoothly, just like in Safari. (shown in the second video)
