Okay, thank you for the clarification.
I will pass this on to the team, but I anticipate that if it's related to Webkit, it will be complicated.Hey @mchisolm0 ,
I agree with @jcf .
However, please continue to share your opinions with us!- Edited
useroffline Seems like most on here agree.
No? Maybe of the posts in this thread, but separate dock icons is practically the only reason I use Orion. It is the killer feature that no other browser has.
Good idea, but we are just adapting the behavior for other browsers by completely removing the lock when everything is secure and displaying a warning if it is not.
You are definitely a hardcore keyboard user
Let me discuss our approach to keyboard shortcuts with the team.
You can come talk to me about it on Discord too. That type of animation is really difficult to reproduce. However, rest assured that we want something as smooth as possible.
I can reproduce every time first time after visiting private mode. Why it happens it's still a mystery to me. I have a workaround fix ready. I will try to fix it properly this week, if not I think we just ship the workaround which is adding a small delay before the find on page UI pops up.
You are right. We are also working on the ability to force a page refresh, and thus load the most recent favicon.
Able to reproduce, thanks for reporting!
This is being worked on and should hopefully be fully solved in Q1 of 2025
gitarero164 Could be controvercial but I like Orion's implementation of their Profiles.
Arc has few extra steps if I am trying to open a link from one specific profile, I hate doing it everytime.
Also, you can change the icons on each of these profiles, this is just amazing.
I have two Orion profiles, one with the old Safari logo another with a mordern one (yeah, I dont like Orion's icon), but this is just amazing.
Arc on the other hand , if you go fullscreen with a video, both the profile vanishes and that is a deal breaker for my workflow.Hope this helps.
MonoMatrix We will have this in mind when this feature comes to top of the queue which should be early next year. We have some exciting updates between then and now.

Dear Orion Community,
I am really enjoying using Orion and all the built-in features out of the box, such as the development tools. The more I explore, the more I am wowed by this browser. It's very lightweight on resources, and combined with Kagi is the Swiss Army knife of browsers combined with SpaceX rocket speed. As a DevOps Engineer, I need to log in to multiple clouds, multiple environments (non-prod, pre-prod and prod) using multiple roles for multiple clients. I have tried the profile route, but this ends up being a lot of config, each profile requiring the extensions I use, each profile window needs configuration and management and involves much context switching. I figure you could combine profiles with containers to allow multiple role logins for that particular profile.
Firefox's containers is the holy grail, allowing an engineer, for example, to group multiple AWS roles and environments and add to that the AWS SSO Containers extension, and you have a powerful all in one window solution which I prefer.
I did try installing Firefox Containers from the Add-ons store, but the experience was suboptimal and didn't function like in Firefox itself. I just get the spinning blue donut. I also tried turning compatibility mode on and off and reinstalling the extension.
Would the Orion devs consider adding a Firefox containers like solution to the browser ever or even just being able to use Firefox Containers and sync my current Firefox container data would be awesome too.
Thank you.
