This likely isn't best practice, but for the time being you can manually change over the profile. Quit Orion and navigate to Library>Application Support>Orion or Orion RC, the folder called "Defaults" is the default profile. You can duplicate it to something like "Defaults Old" and delete the original. Then rename your profile (which is a bunch of letters and numbers" to "Defaults". Now in Profiles, you will have your current profile with all of it's information in the "Default" profile. I'm still trying to get it to Sync to my iOS devices, even after deleteing all the apps and removing it from iCloud.
I'm also having this issue now. I changed out from my default profile (as I am having an iCloud syncing issue on my Mac), to a new profile. I can't delete the "Default" profile nor seemingly get the new profile I created to sync.

The two above links, the vy.no and Apple link, both work to download the PDF.I think this is mostly resolved. For some reason, "Automatic Proxy Detection" got switched on after updating to Sonoma, which made Orion and Safari quite slow. Not sure why it got turned on, and not sure why it was ONLY Orion and Safari that were impacted, but glad to have determined what the issue is. Loading orionfeedback.org was still quite slow, but everything else is loading as quickly as it did before updating.
Hi Vlad, it's impacting pretty much every site, and I can't figure out what the cause is. I had Little Snitch installed (but removed it and restarted with no change), am not using Private Relay, am using a clean configuration, tested both with and without a pihole, and there's no discernable difference.
Please see the below video, it's a test of Firefox 118.0.1 on the left, and the latest Orion RC on the right...

Build date Oct 3 2023
MacBook Pro (macOS Sonoma 14.0 build 23A344)Safari is also quite slow, so I think it is a webkit/Sonoma related issue.
Upon looking into this further, it seems that port 5060 is being blocked according to Orion, which is making the test fail, and using a VPN resolved that issue, but the webpages are still notably slower than FireFox in loading and interacting with them
Steps to reproduce:
<Include steps to reproduce the bug; Did you try using Compatibility mode (https://help.kagi.com/orion/support-and-community/troubleshooting-webpage-issues.html)? Did you try using a clean Orion Profile? If applicable, does Safari behave in the same way?>Install Orion, try to load speedtest.net - initial speed to load webpage is slow, but reloading it is fairly quick. Speedtest fails everytime I have tried to run it. I have tried a new profile, compatibility mode, and completely uninstalling the application and reinstalling it (rebooting every time as well) and no change. My internet is 600mpbs down and up, Firefox and all other apps (except Safari) are working as expected. Safari also has the same speed issues, but the test fails more quickly than in Orion.
Expected behavior:

I don't want to dox myself as the location and IP are visible when trying to run the speed test.jmanes I thought I was going crazy at first! It also seems to be linked to the "allow download from this site" prompt. The ones that work to download ask for that, but the ones that do not work, don't ask for that. I checked and the results on the page that doesn't work stay the same whether it is set to "Allow" or "Ask" for downloads.
Steps to reproduce:
Go to view a pdf (Example:https://www.vy.no/globalassets/vy.no/filer-no/sykkel/sykkelmerke.pdf ). Click on the download button in the top right corner.Expected behavior:

This is not the case for all PDFs or all sites. (Example: https://www.apple.com/environment/pdf/Apple_Environmental_Progress_Report_2022.pdf) this PDF downloads as is. Clearing cache, and testing in a Private Window yield the same results.- In Compact tabs
Number 5 is my first choice, number 3 is my second choice, number 2 and 6 are tied as my third choices.
5 seems like a nice, visually easy way to see what is active, 3 is similar but more subtle. 2 is very similar to Safari (so it's meh, and 6 is more similar to 5 but it just has a bit too much gray.
