  • Steps to reproduce:
    <Include steps to reproduce the bug; Did you try using Compatibility mode (https://help.kagi.com/orion/support-and-community/troubleshooting-webpage-issues.html)? If applicable, does Safari behave in the same way?>

    1. Install cheatsheet (https://www.mediaatelier.com/CheatSheet/)
    2. Open Orion.
    3. Hold cmd for several seconds to trigger cheatsheet for Orion.
    4. Use shortcut cmd + 1 to open bookmark page
    5. It opens in a new tab (rather than opening in the current page). When I click on the bookmark, it opens in the current page. Also, before I trigger cheatsheet, it opens in the current page.

    Expected behavior:
    <What you expected to happen?>

    Bookmark pages open in the current page all the time.

      1. Go here:
      2. Search "Alfred"
      3. It does not highlight "Alfred" but random spots

      Expected behavior:
      <What you expected to happen?>

      Highlight Alfred.

      • <Use a descriptive title! This is what most users will see before upvoting your suggestion. Then, describe your suggestion in detail, including how should it be implemented in Orion and what your expectation is. If relevant, upload screenshots/videos examples for the feature from other browsers.>

        For example, in Reddit, the title shows up as the title of the reddit item. It's messy. It'd be great if there's a way to simplify the title of the tab. Thanks!

          When I open a link from Google search by "right click + Open Link in new tab" it takes me to a new tab that I just opened, rather than staying in the existing website. Safari acts differently; it stays in the Google search result rather than taking me to new tab. Is there a way for me to stay in my Google search result page rather than moving onto a new link?

          Expected behavior:
          <What you expected to happen?>

          Stay in the same page when I right click + open new link.

            1. Go to this website for both safari and Orion: https://www.drbuho.com/how-to/windowserver-high-cpu-and-memory-mac

            2. Highlight the sections that I have showed in my uploaded clip.

            3. Orion's highlight extends all the way to the side whereas Safaris highlight stays within the paragraph, which looks a lot neater.

            Expected behavior:
            <What you expected to happen?>

            I expect Orion paragraph to highlight neatly like Safari.

              Opens in an existing tab: When I first open the app, it works fine - cmd + 1 takes me to my favorite page in the existing tab.
              Opens a new tab: Throughout the day, when I close the app (cmd + w) and cmd + 1 to go to my fav page, it opens another tab rather than opening in my current tab.

              Expected behavior:
              <What you expected to happen?>

              Open my favorites in current page every time I cmd + 1

                Below is an example. Highlight the small letters on the bottom of this website and you'll see the highlights expanding all the way to the sides, not just the small texts.

                https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254420513

                In this website, Safari behaves similarly but on other websites, Orion has more less accurate highlights than Safari. Please check.

                Expected behavior:
                <What you expected to happen?>

                I expect the highlights to only contain the paragraph of my choosing rather than letting the highlight spread all throughout horizontally.

                • Steps to reproduce:
                  When zooming out to Tab Overview, when going back onto page, the page gets shifted to the left or to the right. This can only occurs when activated with trackpad, and can be fixed by zooming in an out.

                  Expected behavior:
                  Expected behavior is for the page to remain in correct view. Despite a fix, it would be nice to disable the trackpad from enable tab overview in the first place to avoid accidental triggers.
