  • Steps to reproduce:
After a recent update, the Dashlane extension will no longer populate the login credential fields when clicking on the autofill password key.

    Expected behavior:
When performing the same actions on Safari, the login fields will populate with my credentials

    Orion, OS version; hardware type:
    Orion 0.99.123.3-beta
    MacOS Monterey
    MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021)
    Apple M1 Max
    32 GB Memory

    • When using Dashlane to log in, occasionally the extension will break. This break results in the plug in starting the Dashlane pop-up and requesting biometrics to log in. Instead of showing your passwords, the pop-up remains greyed out and you are no longer able to interact with the browser. The only way you can fix the issue is by force quitting Orion and reopening the application. This is particularly disruptive, as it forces me to close all of the tabs that I had open.

      Steps to reproduce:
This problem is infrequent, but it occurs about every 10 or so logins regardless of the time between the logins. You can reproduce this error by choosing Dashlane as your Password Provider, and repeatedly opening and closing the prompt until it breaks.

      Expected behavior:
The Dashlane Extension login pop-up should not appear greyed out and it should show my passwords after providing biometrics.

The Dashlane extension is not working properly in a variety of different ways.

Firstly, when clicking on the Dashlane icon in the tool bar, the first time opening the extension makes everything work fine. When I click out of the extension and open it back up, the extension screen is just a blank white space. The only way to fix the issue is to restart Orion, but even this only allows me to open the Dashlane extension one time before it refuses to load again.

In other situations, the Dashlane extension refuses to open at all. I find this interaction is only repeatable on certain websites, including https://orionfeedback.org

I am also finding that autofill feature is not entirely working like it should compared to Safari, Firefox, or other browsers. Usually, Dashlane can detect the current website I am on and auto fill the login areas without me clicking. Dashlane's interaction within Orion is stuck behind many submenus. Not sure if this is the intended functionality, but it is annoying comparing its functionality within other browsers. I also needed to trial and error many Orion settings to get it to this functioning state. In preferences, the password settings need to be set to: Password provider = Orion's Keychain and ✔️ Offer to AutoFill passwords from Orion's Keychain

        Expected behavior:
The Dashlane extension should open to the password list every time you click on the icon, not sometimes in some websites, and not opening to a blank box. Dashlane should also auto fill passwords when presented with login text boxes without clicking, and not be hidden behind a multiple password manager boxes.
