    • When viewing the apple website (specifically the product pages of either the Macbook Pro or the Iphone Pro), the browser just refreshes the tab repeatedly and continues to do this. A video is linked below of it:

As shown in the video, the browser just auto reloads the page when the animation comes up for the product. The video is in my incognito mode (so no extensions could affect it) but i also tried on a fresh install and on a different profile and a clean profile, and im getting the same results.

The same page on safari loads fine, so it I doubt it is a hardware or system specific issue.

      • Hi,

I just tried clicking the link on my installation of Orion, it appears to load well for me:

It could be an extension possibly causing that issue for you maybe?

Using sequoia 15, Orion Version 0.99.129-beta WebKit 619.1.11.111.2 Build date Oct 27 2024

        • Right now, Orion allows a custom to be used as the Background / "Wallpaper" , which works well. However, I would like the ability to possible link a folder with many images inside of it, and be allowed to "cycle" through the wallpapers automatically.

For example, if I have a folder on my desktop with 10 images, I would be able to drag the folder into Orion and specify an interval, and it would switch to the next image in the folder every [interval] that I select.

And, of course, it will be an optional setting, so people will still be able to use single images as the wallpaper without cycling.

This would help by making the browser background look less repetitive, and automatically switch the wallpaper.

          Thanks!

Heres an example flow that I can see of a user using the feature above:

1.) Click edit background menu (at bottom left of start page)
2.) User can select either one of the existing image, a custom image, or a new "choose folder" button
3.) The user can select a folder with images iin it
4.) The user will then be prompted an interval - in minutes - for how often to cycle, or they can choose a custom interval like "every close and reopen of the browser, the background will change")
          5.) settings will be applied

I am not sure which other browsers support this, but inspiration could be MacOS wallpapers, because they support selecting an album to cycle through.
