Not sure if Apple somehow patented their browser behavior
Not sure if this is technically possible on your side
But on Safari, I like how the adress bar is moving along with tabs in Compact mode.
I just have to click on a tab to reveal the address bar
I know Safari's Compact mode brought some confusion when initially introduced but on Orion if I click on a tab on the far right I have to go back left to enter/edit a URL. Not very convenient
I believe it would be nice to have an option to "unpin" the adress bar that is stuck on the left
